Inkumbi and Kinnertone

Just yesterday I put the first post online to report to you what is going on here. The main thing that African Revival does here in Zambia is build schools. I'll now show a few of the projects that have been finished the last two months.
This is a video of Inkumbi Basic School, which was just finished after I arrived. This school is possibly even deeper in the middle of nowhere than the first school (Mulwazi) that I showed.

Problem
In Zambia teachers are sent to a random part of the country to teach. And they can't much influence where this government gamble will take them. This means that a teacher from the thrilling city of Lusaka where there's plenty of electricity and TV's, can end up in a nice cute village with plenty of chicken and maize, and not so much electricity. And also there might not be a house for him, so that he has to sleep in the classroom.

That's why at some schools we provide housing for the teachers. An example is the project at Kinnertone Community school. Professor is the name of the teacher that lived in a shed of 1x2m. The head teacher Shadreck lived in one half of a classroom. This is not really nice, so together with the community we built a double house, big enough for both families. Here's a small video about the building process, hopefully I'll go back for a visit soon to ask Professor and Shadreck if they enjoy their new homes.
